ransportable production unit capable of processing wool closer to its source and increasing accessibility for local producers.
Inspired by the mobile shearing services already operating across Alpine regions, as well as in the mobile Fab Labs, this concept combines a transportable wool processing facility with a mobile makerspace. Washing, drying, carding and spinning could happen directly on farms, while workshops and fabrication equipment would allow producers, schools and local communities to experiment with new wool products on site.
